Description

This dataset contains raw and processed measurements from a cadaveric proof-of-concept study on a novel multifunctional patient-specific guide (PSG) for distal femoral tumour resection and reconstruction. The study was conducted on Thiel-embalmed male cadaveric distal femurs.

The dataset includes variables such as resection height deviation (mm), coronal and sagittal alignment errors (°), in-plane rotational errors of the endoprosthesis (°), binary height deviation thresholds, and specimen identifiers. Data are provided in CSV format, with variable descriptions and units available in an accompanying Excel file.

This dataset accompanies the manuscript “Enhancing Surgical Precision in Limb-Salvage Surgery: Proof-of-Concept Study of a Multifunctional Patient-Specific Guide”, submitted to The British Journal of Radiology (BJR).

The dataset is released under the CC BY 4.0 licence, allowing sharing and adaptation with proper attribution.
