Volume 1 of the Temporal–Density Framework establishes the invariant

α c λ=1

as the sole foundational constraint underlying curvature, gauge structure, and physical response within a single temporal medium.

This volume presents a fully dimensionless formulation in which all conventional constants arise as geometric projections of the invariant equilibrium. The universal linear-density floor λ=c2/(2G, the temporal coupling α=2G/c3, and the invariant propagation representation c are shown not to represent independent physical inputs, but coordinated expressions of one constraint preserved under volumetric redistribution.

Gravitation and electromagnetism are unified at the field level:
what is conventionally called gravitation appears as the longitudinal geometric response of the temporal field, while electromagnetic phenomena arise as its transverse modes. No separate gravitational sector, electromagnetic medium, auxiliary normalisers, or free parameters are introduced. Mass, curvature, impedance, and horizon structure emerge directly from the requirement that the invariant be maintained across non-uniform geometries.

Key results and predictions include:

  • vacuum impedance and the fine-structure constant derived from first principles;

  • gravitational curvature as linear-density realisation rather than a fundamental interaction;

  • the geometric origin of gauge structure and the SU(3) → SU(2) → U(1) cascade;

  • horizon formation as a temporal-floor boundary condition;

  • electromagnetic response as the U(1) projection of isotropic temporal tension.

Volume 1 serves as the mathematical and conceptual foundation for the framework. Its invariant formulation underpins the gauge-resolved particle physics, dark-matter behaviour, and cosmological dynamics developed in subsequent volumes.

This revision refines the presentation of the invariant triad to emphasise its dimensionless, unit-independent character. Explicit appearances of the gravitational constant G have been confined to representational contexts, with all physical arguments expressed directly in terms of the invariant parameters. The role and meaning of the propagation constant ccc have been clarified, and minor structural edits improve first-contact readability without altering any results.

Version 1.2.2 - 

The derivation and interpretation of the fine-structure constant have been expanded and restructured to present it as a necessary impedance–action ratio arising from linear response under invariant constraint, without auxiliary assumptions.

No changes are made to the core invariant relations or empirical scope; the update improves internal coherence, clarity of derivation, and self-containment of the volume.

Version 1.2.0 — Ontological Refinement

This update completes an ontological and terminological refinement of Volume 1, aligning all language and scope with its role as a fully dimensionless foundation of the Temporal–Density Framework. Legacy constructs and intermediate interpretive scaffolding have been removed or reframed, and the propagation constant c is treated consistently as a representation of the invariant constraint rather than a primitive input. No results are altered; the revision sharpens conceptual clarity and stabilises the volume as the definitive reference for the framework’s core structure and testability.
