Replication package for: "The Rise and Fall of the Price-to-Rent Ratio: Why Are Superstar Cities Different?"

This replication package recreated the results in ‘The Rise and Fall of the Price-to-Rent Ratio: Why are Superstar Cities Different?”, by Christian A. L. Hilber and Andreas Mense.

The package contains raw data and R code required to replicate the results. Most data files are included in the package. Some data need to be downloaded from the UK Data Service prior to running the code. Researchers who wish to replicate the results without downloading the safeguarded data from UK Data Service may do so by using a pre-processed file. Detailed instructions are given in the readme file of the package.
