Spice Usage in European Farmhouse Brewing

Description

This dataset lists spices used in European farmhouse brewing, based on 1,059 accounts collected
from archives in 8 different countries, as well as published sources and fieldwork. The data span the last three centuries, with emphasis on the period 1930-2025. A distinction is made between spices which are said to be in common use (Restrictive), and spices which are just mentioned as used (Inclusive).
