Description

This dataset contains the raw proton nuclear magnetic resonance (¹H NMR) spectra of root extracts obtained from various orchid species. The data were used to generate a heat map and hierarchical clustering dendrogram illustrating chemical similarity among samples. The dendrogram on the left represents sample clustering based on metabolite profiles, with branch length indicating correlation distance. The top dendrogram shows clustering of NMR variables (metabolite signals). The accompanying heat map visualizes the relative abundance of metabolites, where red indicates higher abundance, blue indicates lower abundance, and black represents average levels. Distinct clustering patterns reveal reproducible metabolite composition among biological replicates and authentic chemical diversity across species.
