Description

The Unified Compression-Based Field (UCBF)  framework models the vacuum as a Lorentz-invariant elastic continuum with density ρₐ, shear modulus μ_H, and bulk modulus Kₐ. Electromagnetism emerges from transverse shear, gravity from quasi-static compression, and quantum fields from quantized displacement and torsional modes. Introducing the constraint ∂ₜ(∇·u)=0 removes non-causal longitudinal waves, while setting λ = Kₐ (β = 1) reproduces all tested relativistic effects—including Mercury’s precession, light bending, and Shapiro delay. A residual isotropic strain ξ₀ ≈ 1.7×10⁻⁹ naturally yields the observed dark-energy density, and a finite coherence length ℓ_g ≈ 8 m regularizes vacuum energy. The theory predicts measurable excess pressure (~10⁵ Pa at 1 T) around strong magnetic fields, providing a direct experimental test of vacuum elasticity..
