Method and System for Harmonic Lenz-Law–Driven Diamagnetic Plasma Confinement Using Passive Superconducting Coil Arrays
Authors/Creators
Description
A system and method are disclosed for enhancing plasma confinement in nuclear-fusion
devices through harmonic synchronization of induced diamagnetic currents and passive su-
perconducting coil (PSC) arrays. By extending Lenz’s Law via the Unified Harmonic Field
Framework (UHFF), the invention co-opts induced electromagnetic back-reactions to form
dynamically stable curvature wells that confine plasma more efficiently and reduce instabil-
ities. An optimization functional governs PSC placement and coupling to produce harmoni-
cally balanced total magnetic fields without active feedback. The approach yields improved
energy-confinement times, reduced edge-localized modes, and lower input-power require-
ments for magnetic-confinement reactors.
