The combined Impact of the use of Generative AI tools and Positive Psychology on Chinese EFL Learners; A Literature Review. (2)

This study explores the effects of integrating Positive Psychology (PP) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in order to transform English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learning. It conducted a systematic review of 60 studies published between 2018 and 2025, and combined content analysis and thematic synthesis to examine how key PP constructs are supported through AI-enhanced tools. The study then conducted a focused review of 12 studies which applied AI-based interventions in order to provide deeper insights into learner experience, affective shifts, and academic outcomes.
