This study examines the level of effectiveness of coaching techniques in enhancing sports performance in football and futsal within the Division of Lipa City, Batangas. Recognizing the vital role of coaching in the development of student-athletes, the research explores key aspects such as performance improvement, emotional support, teamwork enhancement, and personal development. Furthermore, it assesses how coaching contributes to cognitive performance, team synergy, physical health and injury management, and game skills execution. Using descriptive-quantitative approaches, data were gathered from student-athletes, coaches, and trainers to provide a holistic understanding of the current practices and their outcomes. Findings reveal that effective coaching techniques significantly influence not only athletic performance but also the emotional and academic balance of student-athletes. Coaches and trainers play a pivotal role in refining technical skills, fostering discipline, and strengthening teamwork, while schools serve as crucial partners in ensuring holistic growth and sustainability of sports programs. The study underscores the need for evidence-based coaching strategies, structured training programs, and continuous professional development for coaches and trainers. The implications extend to student-athletes, schools, trainers, and policymakers by providing actionable insights for improving coaching practices and sustaining football and futsal development. Additionally, the research contributes to the body of literature on sports coaching in the Philippine context and offers a foundation for future comparative and longitudinal studies.
