iNEST Cross-cutting Activity #2 - Deliverable Milestone 17

This document was developed as part of the activities carried out within the Cross-cutting Activity #2 (Creation of a network of joint strategic labs between universities and companies) and represents the deliverable for Milestone 17 (December 2022 – April 2023).

The report outlines the objectives of the cross-cutting action “Lab Villages” in the frame of iNEST. Specifically, the goals include (i) the creation of a network of lab villages, suitably connected in such a way that companies may establish fruitful interactions with those ones that better match their interests/needs, and (ii) the identification of reference models of lab village and the investigation of possible interactions with the other transversal activities (spin-off and startup, public engagement, and lifelong learning).

Furthermore, the report contains a description of the various tasks to be carried out during the PNRR project, including the specification of the responsible, the involved partners, and the expected duration, together with an account of the plan of the activities to execute in each task. In addition, it presents a picture of the current situation of joint university-industry laboratories at each spoke involved in the iNEST Ecosystem.
