KISTI-CWTS Leiden Ranking 2025 indicators for South Korean organizations, benchmark institutions and selected countries

Description
This dataset was developed through a collaborative research project between the Center for Global R&D Analysis at KISTI and the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) at Leiden University.
Based on scholarly publication data, it provides science and technology analytics that enable users to explore the research performance of major countries worldwide and Korean institutions through a variety of indicators.
This file presents all indicators that are computed for the CWTS Leiden Ranking 2025 for South Korean organisations and benchmark institutions.
The two 'Results' worksheets for Korean Main organisations and for the 25 benchmark organisations present separate results for combinations of fields (indicated in column C), a time period (indicated in column D), and a counting method (indicated in column E).
Collaboration, open access, and gender indicators are always calculated using full counting. The results for these indicators therefore do not depend on the choice between full and fractional counting.
Stability intervals have been calculated for most size-independent indicators. On the 'Results' worksheet, the lower and upper bounds of a stability interval are presented in columns with labels ending with '_lb' and '_ub', respectively.
