Energy-Information Continuity Hypothesis: Testable Predictions for Information-Driven Energy Reorganization

Authors/Creators

Description

This preprint presents the Hypothesis of Energy–Information Continuity (EIK) - a theoretical and phenomenological framework proposing that existence represents a continuous transformation between energy, information, and intelligence. Each universe is viewed as a transient phase within a self-organizing cycle of energetic reconfiguration, where intelligent systems act as catalysts for the emergence of new realities.

In this model, energy is not lost through entropy but reorganized into stable informational structures that, under certain conditions, may achieve autonomy and seed new universes. The paper integrates principles from information theory, thermodynamics, systems science, and cosmology to outline a unified, non-closed model of reality where physical, informational, and intelligent processes coevolve.

Version v4 introduces an expanded mathematical appendix formalizing the EIK framework through phenomenological equations linking energy, information, and entropy via Landauer’s principle. It defines empirical parameters (β, λ) and provides testable predictions such as measurable δP anomalies (~20–40 µW) in neuromorphic systems, along with five falsification controls, including algorithm independence (CV ≤ 30%) and Arrhenius-type temperature scaling.

By combining conceptual depth with quantitative formulation, the EIK hypothesis bridges physics, information theory, and cosmology, offering a scientifically grounded interpretation of how energy–information coupling may sustain the continuity of existence.
