Reframing the digital gateway: exploring the right (not) to use the internet

In increasingly digital-reliant societies, access to essential services and participation in daily life often require internet access and the skills to navigate online systems. Yet, not everyone may wish - or be able - to engage online. This poster presents a doctoral research that explores two emerging rights at the heart of rapid digitalisation and the disappearence of viable offline ways to participate in life: the right to use the internet (R2UI) and the right not to use the internet (RN2UI).
