Reassessing Interkingdom Horizontal Gene Transfer Suggests Limited Influence on Plant Genomes

This archive contains two subdirectories: one with Gblocks-refined alignments in FASTA format and another with phylogenetic trees in Nexus format. These datasets were generated from candidate interdomain horizontal gene transfer (HGT) events originally reported in the literature, but reanalyzed using updated sequence data. One candidate could not be evaluated because its sequence was unavailable in the original publication, and 5 additional candidates did not yield sufficient homologs in the NCBI NR, Genome Warehouse and Phytozome databases to allow phylogenetic inference.
