The anti–corruption component of digital competitiveness

Subject of research. The relevance of the researched issue is due to modern digital transformations and the urgent need to reduce the impact of corruption on the economy. The issue of combating the phenomenon of corruption demonstrates positive results with the implementation of modern digital systems around the world. The features of digital competitiveness activate and contribute to the development of the anti–corruption imperative.
The purpose of the study is to summarize the main approaches to the perception of the concept of competitiveness, to identify and highlight the main characteristics of digital competitiveness and their anti–corruption affiliation.
Results of the work. The article presents the justification of different approaches to determining global competitiveness, a comparative analysis in the traditional and digital economy, and examines retrospective changes in digital competitiveness indicators and the perception of corruption in European countries and Ukraine. The analysis showed how the phenomenon of global corruption maintains basic status stability and in the modern movement appears in more and more alternative forms.
Conclusion. A study of the development of corruption categories and digital competitiveness showed that European countries and Ukraine occupy leading positions in terms of forming the level in the global digital space, which is a promising prerequisite for the implementation of global anti–corruption policy.
