Authors/Creators
Description
Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) have become one of the most significant public health challenges of the 21st century. They include cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, cancer, and chronic respiratory diseases, which together account for nearly 70% of global mortality. The burden of these diseases continues to rise in developing countries, including Uzbekistan, due to lifestyle changes, urbanization, and limited access to preventive health services. The purpose of this study is to highlight the importance of early diagnosis and prevention of NCDs through community-based screening, health education, and digital monitoring tools. This article presents the results of a pilot project aimed at implementing early diagnostic and preventive measures among the adult population. The findings demonstrate that regular health screening, lifestyle modification, and public awareness programs are effective strategies for reducing risk factors associated with NCDs.
