Description
General workflow to retrieve and further process flight data from the OpenSky database, for example for spatial analysis using GIS.
"Opensky_query_example.py" demonstrates an example query of flight data from the Trino database, following the documentation of the utilized library pyopensky by Olive 2019.
"Reduction_example.R" is an R script to reduce the data point frequency of the downloaded data to reduce file size.
"Rbind_csv_example.R" is an R script to combine multiple CSV files of flight data.
