Russian Contentious Event Dataset (RCED)

RCED is a dataset of protest events that occurred in Russia between 2010 and 2023. It is built using Twitter (X) data and a combination of natural language processing techniques. The main file (RCED.csv or identical RCED.xlsx) contains all the event records. PROGOV, ANTIGOV, and NONPOL CSV files consist of events categorised by a fine-tuned GPT-3.5 model.
