Description
Abstract: The integration of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) education in Uzbekistan presents both opportunities and challenges for the national education system. This study examines the current level of teachers’ preparedness to implement STEAM approaches in schools, identifying major obstacles including limited professional development, insufficient teaching resources, and a lack of practical experience in interdisciplinary methodologies. The paper also proposes strategies to enhance teacher competence, such as specialized training programs, collaborative learning communities, and incorporation of digital technologies.
