Description

This teaching presentation was delivered to postgraduate (MPhil/PhD) students and graduate teaching assistants at SOAS University of London by Dr Mandar Marathe on 30 October 2025. The teaching session introduced practical strategies for creating and curating an online research presence using professional platforms such as ORCID, Google Scholar, ResearchGate, and institutional repositories.

The accompanying handout (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.17486191) includes clickable live examples of real researcher profiles and academic project websites, demonstrating how consistent identifiers, metadata, and open-access practices enhance discoverability and research impact.

This resource is shared to support open pedagogy and to encourage other educators to reuse or adapt the material for research-skills training.
