Description
The Intelligence Layer defines how to apply artificial intelligence to distributed energy systems. It transforms operational data into continuous foresight and real‑time decision‑making. By coupling Predictive AI (forecasting) with Decision AI (execution), the platform, Ona, reduces downtime, raises energy output, and automates the supervisory work traditionally performed by human operators. Its deterministic design excludes Generative AI to eliminate hallucination and maintain verifiable control. This paper describes Ona’s data architecture, operational cycle, performance outcomes, and implications for scalable renewable infrastructure.
