Using Stakeholder Feedback to Inform Translational Impact Planning
Authors/Creators
Description
*Presented at the 2025 American Evaluation Association (AEA) Conference, November 2025.
Authors: Andrea Molzhon, PhD & Deborah DiazGranados, PhD
Description: Previously, we assessed how researchersconceptualized the potential impact of their work by analyzing responses on a research impact survey (e.g., Molzhon, Dillon, Diaz-Granados, 2025). Here, we present how we built on those findings through semi-structured interviews with CTSA Hub-supported researchers to identify actionable recommendations that will inform the development of improved impact training resources and evaluation tools.
Objectives:
-
To gather user feedback on a Translational Science Benefits Model (TSBM)-based impact survey.
-
To develop strategies to integrate the TSBM and impact planning into investigator resources and training.
