Fitness Tracker App using Flutter

Description

The rapid increase in the number of people who do not exercise, coupled with complicated eating habits and a lack of individualized coaching, has made it vital to incorporate different approaches to digital fitness. With the advent of mobile technology and cross-platform frameworks, it is possible to create health and fitness applications that target a wide and varied audience. This research concentrates on the conceptualization, design, and construction of a fitness tracker application in Flutter. The application targets personalization, consistency and motivation with features such as personalized diet and exercise suggestions, progress tracking, BMI/BMR calculations, calorie tracking and cloud storage. Firebase provides serverless backend services for authentication and real-time sync while gamification elements (badges, streaks, reminders) encourage adherence. The iterative prototype-driven development approach led to a lightweight, responsive app that runs on budget phones while remaining extensible for wearables and AI-based improvements.
