A comprehensive spectroscopic reference of the solar system and its application to exoplanet direct imaging: Supplementary data

We present a calibrated database of reflectance spectra for the solar system planets (i.e., Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune) and for Titan, spanning from the ultraviolet to the near infrared. This is the supplementary electronic dataset associated with Payne et al. PSJ. There are four sets of datasets provided for each planet: 1) CSV files containing comma separated values with 2 columns (wavelength in microns and geometric albedo); 2) TXT text files with the 2 columns, now separated by spaces; 3) a figure in PDF format for each object (_albedo.pdf files) presenting the composite spectra, and showing how each spectral section was created by integrating information from the different sources; 4) a figure in PDF format (_sources.pdf files) presenting all the sources included in the analysis and the different geometrical and calibration corrections applied. For reference, geometric albedo is defined as the ratio between the flux observed from a planet at full phase (phase=0) and the flux that would be observed from a perfectly scattering, flat disk of the same size and at the same distance, viewed face-on.
