Krzyzaniak O, Steiner S, Nilsson FAM, Dietrich M, Kämpfen L, Johansen P, Jirkof P, Meyer U. Applicability of the micropipette-guided drug administration (MDA) method for assessing reward-related behaviors in mice. Physiology & Behavior. 2025 Oct 1;299:114967. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.physbeh.2025.114967.

In this study, we investigated whether acute or chronic exposure to the micropipette-guided drug administration (MDA) vehicle influences reward-related behaviors in male and female C57BL/6 mice. Behavioral performance was assessed using three commonly employed paradigms: the novelty-suppressed eating test, the sucrose preference test, and the incentive runway test.
