Évaluation du Potentiel Hydrogéologique en Milieu Urbain par la Méthode Géophysique électrique : Cas de la Parcelle ITA Mombele à Kinshasa, RDC

Description

This study presents the results of an integrated hydrogeological survey combining geoelectrical surveys, geological, hydrogeological, geomorphological analyses as well as calculations and estimations of hydrodynamic parameters to characterize the aquifers in the ITA Mombele plot in Kinshasa. Two SEV (Schlumberger) were carried out, revealing a succession of sedimentary layers and a shallow water table (±1.3 m). Inversion models identified a productive saturated zone between 30 and 80 m depth, corresponding to the fractured Inkisi sandstone, with an estimated flow rate of 3 m³/h. The uncertainties (RMS between 10.7% and 16.3%) justify further investigations by electrical tomography for precise fracture localization. This approach demonstrates the usefulness of geoelectrical methods for groundwater resource assessment in tropical urban contexts.
