ITCER Newsletter – October 2025

The ITCER Newsletter – Issue October 2025 presents current activities of the International Training Centre for Environmental Research (ITCER e.V., Germany / ITCER Kenya NGO; https://itcer.org). It introduces the Ng’iya site in Siaya County as a joint base for biodiversity monitoring, ecological restoration, and training. The issue documents the HOH–TUB grassland experiment, the biodiversity monitoring pipeline, and developments at the ITCER site. The work is carried out mainly by members of the Universities of Bayreuth, Hohenheim, and Tübingen, with additional contributions from partners at other institutions. Supported by the TERRA Cluster of Excellence and the BRIGHT-Futures Project, ITCER promotes research, education, and local capacity building in tropical Africa.
