Roshan Shrestha (born October 14, 1996, in Bahrabise, Sindhupalchok, Nepal) is a Nepali journalist, author, and digital-media entrepreneur. He is the founder and editor-in-chief of Khoj Samachar, an independent youth-led media organization dedicated to truth, accountability, and innovation in journalism.
He also developed the Roshan Shrestha App, a civic-tech platform providing citizens with verified information, digital tools, and civic education. Additionally, he founded WikiNP, Nepal’s open digital encyclopedia that promotes public knowledge and youth participation.

His works — The Digital Voice of Nepal and KhojX: News Age — explore digital transformation, fact-checking, and youth empowerment through responsible media. Influenced by the principles of UNESCO, the International Press Institute (IPI), and Global Voices, Shrestha’s mission is to inspire ethical digital storytelling and transparency in Nepal’s information landscape.
