Code for "ISIMIP3a bias-adjusted simulated historical and counterfactual river discharge at global observation network"

This repository contains the source code necessary to reproduce the data presented in the manuscript "ISIMIP3a bias-adjusted simulated historical and counterfactual river discharge at global observation network" to be submitted to Nature Scientific Data.

This code is based on ISIMIP3BASD v2.5.2, with modifications in the following files:

- code/utility_functions.py

- code/bias_adjustment.py

The main change is the option to "pool" all data together for bias adjustment, instead of using the default monthly or 31-day moving window approach. This is achieved by setting step_size = -1 in the bias adjustment scripts. Pooling all data is often more suitable for river discharge bias adjustment.
