Authors/Creators
Description
This application has been developed by the Department of Biomechanical Human Body Models of the New Technologies - Research Centre at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen to support education, research, and visualization in the field of the female pelvic floor. Its primary purpose is to provide users an interactive tool for exploring pelvic anatomy and structure through interactive 3D models. By using modern visualization frameworks such as PyVistaQt, the application allows users to view, manipulate, and customize pelvic models in a flexible and user-friendly environment. In addition to built-in anatomical models, it supports the import of personalized data, landmark definition, and morphing techniques, making it useful for both teaching and applied research. This manual serves as a step-by-step guide to installation, navigation of the graphical user interface, and effective use of the application features, including model handling, landmark management, exporting, and customization. Whether used for classroom demonstration, anatomical study, or preparation of simulation input, the manual is intended to help users use the application’s capabilities entirely. The application is publicly available under the MIT license. To install the application, either unzip the file Pelvic_Visualiser.zip or run the file Pelvic_Visualiser.exe.
