The rapid development of information and communication technology has changed the behavior of global society and has made the world borderless and caused social change. Cybercrime phishing involves fraudulently targeting individuals to provide personal information, such as login credentials or credit card numbers, by impersonating a trustworthy entity. The results of the research on the factors that cause phishing-based cybercriminals to commit their crimes are due to financial motivation factors, the desire to make profits, the vulnerability of technological systems, and weaknesses in security infrastructure. Efforts to enforce the law on phishing-based cybercrime need to be maximized in preventing phishing-based cybercrime.
