Description

Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) are one of the most widely used classes of medications globally.1 They are a cornerstone of treatment for pain, fever, and inflammation.2 This article provides a detailed overview of their pharmacology, including their mechanism of action, classification, pharmacokinetics, and the critical balance between their therapeutic effects and significant adverse effects.
