Abstract:
This doctoral research explores cybersecurity challenges in healthcare resource management, focusing on the NHS as a case study. The study investigates systemic vulnerabilities within healthcare IT infrastructure, the adoption of Zero Trust frameworks, and the integration of AI-driven threat detection in safeguarding sensitive health data. Using qualitative and analytical methods, the research identifies governance gaps, human factor risks, and proposes a multi-layered cybersecurity model designed to improve healthcare data protection and resilience.
