THE IMPORTANCE OF DEVELOPING STUDENTS' COGNITIVE INTERESTS IN TEACHING TECHNICAL SUBJECTS IN IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION

This article discusses the issues of improving the quality of education by developing students’ cognitive interests in teaching technical subjects. The role of a person-centered approach, innovative pedagogical technologies, interactive methods and information and communication technologies in the modern educational process is analyzed. The formation of cognitive interests is considered an important factor in increasing students’ independent thinking, creative approach and level of mastery.
