RESEARCH ON THE ILLNESS REGULARITIES AMONG WORKERS AT MINING INDUSTRY FACILITIES AND HAZARD RISK ASSESSMENT

The operation of almost all mining facilities is associated with intense pollution of work areas. This is a dangerous phenomenon that creates a negative impact on the health of workers. An important aspect is the analysis of the patterns of development of occupational diseases in workers and the identification of hazardous factors that affect the occurrence of occupational diseases. The paper presents the results of the analysis of diseases of workers at the Central Mining and Processing Plant, Kryvyi Rih. It is determined that the most dangerous factor is dust pollution of working areas. A numerical model for estimating dust pollution in the air in the working areas is presented.
