Janet's Partial Instructional Design Models

ABSTRACT 

The word "design" is derived from the verb "to design," meaning to resolve and proceed with a decision after carefully examining matters from all aspects, anticipating various outcomes and varying degrees of achievement of stated goals, and drawing a comprehensive mental map that guides the individual on how to implement and move forward with firm, flexible steps toward the goal, suggesting the ability to bear the consequences. The term "design" refers to engineering something in a certain way according to specific criteria, or an engineering process for a given situation, or the drawing and specifications according to which work is carried out. It is defined as a systematic, methodological theory that adapts to the educational content to be learned and seeks to achieve more efficient and effective education for learners by presenting sufficient information to enable them to solve their identified problems in their own way. Instructional design is defined as a scientific and technological study of the foundations of teaching and learning and determining the best teaching methods and approaches appropriate for achieving specific educational objectives.
