Presented at “Gyan Bharatam — International Conference on Reclaiming India’s Knowledge Legacy through Manuscript Heritage,” Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, India, 11–13 September 2025.

This deposit preserves the original conference method and result (CL2 buffalo case). The paper fixes the phonetic line (RI—A—IN—DA—RVA), tests two overlay placements (animal-first vs text-first), records a directional preference, and logs falsifiability in a results ledger. Formatting and the abstract were condensed only—no conceptual changes.

Files: (1) Main paper (combined PDF, primary), (2) Falsifiability sheet with scoring/legend (stand-alone PDF).

Licensing note: Appendices A–B display CC BY-ND 4.0 on the pages; the record is CC BY 4.0.
