Description

American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) 2025 Annual Convention, Washington, DC, research poster (topic area: adult swallowing).

Recent literature on diet modification practices supports the need for dysphagia training for clinical and ethical reasons. We present an extensive literature review and recent qualitative data, and using an evidence-based framework we contextualize the progress towards de-implementation of a harmful and outdated practice. Poster presented at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) 2025 Convention.
