Software for the publication "How complete is cloud glaciation?"
Description
This repository contains the `glaciation_time_estimator` Python library used to generate the dataset and figures for the manuscript "How complete is cloud glaciation?". From time-series of cloud-top observations, the library detects and tracks individual stratiform clouds. Each track includes time-series of cloud physical properties—most importantly cloud-top phase. The library then identifies glaciation events within tracks and stores them as time-resolved processes.
