Dataset of the article "Early or late: Associations between adult emergence timing and fitness-related traits in the grapevine moth Lobesia botrana"

These three Excel datasets were generated for the article “Early or late: Associations between adult emergence timing and fitness-related traits in the grapevine moth Lobesia botrana”. All datasets originate from individuals collected as larvae in vineyards (Syrah and Mourvèdre cultivars) and reared under controlled conditions as described in the Methods (ethical handling of insects, emergence monitoring, and mating assays with standardized laboratory partners).

This dataset contains reproductive performance measurements of field-collected females paired with standardized laboratory males.

This dataset corresponds to “Mating success and reproductive output of field collected females”, including life-history and reproductive traits.

3. FitnessMales.xlsx

This dataset contains reproductive performance data for field-collected males mated with standardized laboratory females.

This dataset is associated with “Males’ mating success and spermatophore size”.
