Elucidating the Role of Catalyst Layer Resistance in AEM Water Electrolysis
Authors/Creators
Description
The data sets below contain raw data for electrochemical measurements (AEM water electrolysis) performed on two different flow cells (Baltic flow cell and a custom 3D printed flow cell). The research focussed on developing a diagnostic methodology to determine catalyst layer resistance and utilization heterogeneity by using dual reference electrodes integrated in the flow cells. The study mainly used techniques like Polarisation curves and Impedance Spectroscopy to track changes in the local current density within the catalyst layer in comparison to the applied geometric current density.
