Scurvy on Jacques Cartier's second voyage to North America (Winter 1535-1536)

Description

A large proportion of the crew died from scurvy on Cartier’s second voyage to Newfoundland. 
This epidemic is one of the earliest unambiguous historical descriptions of scurvy. 
This document contains two separate translations of the epidemic to English.
