Arniocera auriguttata Hopffer, 1857

COMMON NAME(S): Gold Spotted Burnet.

SYNONYM(S): Arichalca melanopyga Wallengren, 1860; Arniocera chrysosticta Butler, 1898.

IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE).

DISTRIBUTION: Kenya, Mozambique, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Luangwa bridge between Lusaka and Eastern Province and Mid Luangwa valley in Eastern Province.

LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include a Grewia sp. (Malvaceae).
