Service-Learning: Enriching Communities Beyond Borders

Description

The Handbook for Service-Learning in Erasmus+ provides a research-based theoretical framework, drawing on surveys and focus groups across European higher education institutions to assess the accessibility and effectiveness of Service-Learning for international students. It offers practical guidelines and five illustrative implementation models to support institutions in integrating Service-Learning into Erasmus+ mobility programmes, promoting recognition of learning outcomes, fostering collaboration with societal actors, and contributing to societal change and European values. The suggested models are intended as inspiration rather than strict instructions, allowing institutions to adapt practices to their unique contexts and the needs of local communities.
