Assessment of PTCL's Performance Management Framework

Description

This project aims to study the selected HR tool, i.e., the performance management system of the chosen organization, i.e., PTCL. The report explains in detail the steps of the PTCL performance management system. Objective setting is an important part of the process, including defining OKRs that align with PTCL's core values. These objectives are a blend of performance-based objectives and competency-based objectives. The formal evaluation of performance is done through an appraisal form. The report entails the components of appraisal forms used in PTCL and the methods used to appraise the employees. PTCL’s performance management system is also facilitated by software, i.e., Oracle, which is explained in detail in the report. The link between rewards and the performance evaluation is also discussed. Moreover, the report highlights how PTCL evaluates its PMS's effectiveness and ensures employee satisfaction. Lastly, the report is concluded by giving our suggestions on how the PMS tool of PTCL can be improved.
