Description
Xylophanes chiron nechus (Cramer, 1777)
General distribution. Mexico to Argentina including the Dominican Republic.
Distribution in the DR. Widespread throughout the country.
Habitat. An open-habitat Sphingidae, common in wooded areas at all elevations.
Host plants. Rubiaceae, especially in the genus Psychotria.
