Description

Protambulyx strigilis (Linnaeus, 1771)

General distribution. South USA to Argentina including the West Indies.

Distribution in the DR. Widespread throughout the country.

Habitat. The species is generalist. It flies in almost all environments up to elevations of 2000 m.

Host plants. Anacardiaceae.
