Stizocera boyi Melzer, 1927: 562.
Remarks. This species was described from Brazil (Amazonas). Currently, it is known from Ecuador, Bolivia, and Brazil (Amazonas and Rondônia) (Monné 2024a; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2024). Monné & Giesbert (1994) recorded this species from Paraguay.
Material examined. PERU (new country record), Loreto: Picuroyacu, Rio Amazonas, 1 female, 12.V.2012, J.J. Ramírez leg. (JJRH).
