esalganik/platelet-ice: Density and salinity of Antarctic sea ice at King Haakon VII Sea
Authors/Creators
Description
Generate estimates of Antarctic sea-ice density from observations at King Haakon VII Sea
MATLAB codes are provided to convert observations from coring to sea-ice density estimates. Sea-ice density and salinity were measured at the cold laboratory of the Norwegian Polar Institute at -15 °C. The ice core was collected on 14 Jan 2020 at 11.46°E, -69.66°S.
The measurements of ice density and salinity were performed by Evgenii Salganik and Polona Itkin.
