Spiritual Gravity: A Non-Dual Curvature Model of Suffering and Coherence
Description
Despite unprecedented advances in mental-health interventions, global suffering continues to rise, suggesting that existing frameworks describe symptoms but not structure. This paper introduces spiritual gravity as a universal curvature constant that unifies psychological, physiological, and spiritual processes within one coherent field equation:
(E + Hc)^2 - (E^2 + Hc^2) = ΔS.
Here E = egoic mass (adaptive function), Hc = heart-as-compass (coherence vector), and ΔS = change in suffering. When ego and heart act together, curvature flattens (ΔS → 0); when divided, curvature bends and suffering rises. Drawing from four decades of trauma-therapy observation, phenomenological data, and convergent research in HRV coherence, compassion science, and non-dual psychology, the model frames suffering not as pathology but as measurable distortion. Spiritual gravity offers a falsifiable, ethically neutral, and belief-agnostic foundation for future empirical and clinical research, and a measurable framework for coherence across human and artificial systems, positioning coherence—not control—as the natural equilibrium of consciousness.
